The Competitiveness Pole of Bizerte is part of the Tunisian National Strategy for the promotion of the agro-food sector of the XIth Development Plan. The Competitiveness Pole of Bizerte promotes a network of regional, national and international partners: it provides all operators with the necessary information and expertise.
Following the national program of the Technopoles in Tunisia, the Bizerte Agri-food Technopole has a national vocation and is based on three pillars:
- Research and development
- Training
- Production
Created in 2006, the Competitiveness Pole of Bizerte is a space for exchange and partnership between various stakeholders in the agri-food sector, promoting innovation, the creation of synergies, and the development of competitiveness among its members.
The Tunisian Competitiveness Pole of Bizerte joined THE NEXT SOCIETY Cluster Booster Track in 2017.
