Live Love Recycle tries to address two of Lebanon main issues: the garbage crisis and the overall high unemployment rate in Lebanon (24%, with youth unemployment exceeding 35%).
Their idea was simple: to build a recycling collection service, while employing people below the poverty line.
Live Love Recycle is a new environmental and social project to help counter the waste management crisis in Lebanon. It is a recyclables collection service based on a mobile application where residents in Beirut are able to order on demand pick-ups for their recyclables’ bags.
A driver on a bike will be present at the designated location in less than 30 minutes after the request, to pick-up the bags and drop them back to the nearest recycling facilities.
