Support to the actors of the value chain for a milling of visibility and international competitiveness
North-West Olive Oil Cluster seeks to increase the operating capacity of the region’s oil mills in order to make a substantial contribution to boosting the regional industrial sector.
In order to achieve its objectives, the cluster tends to work on several activities:
- Better supply management
- By-product valorization
- Quality management & training
- Access to funding
- Marketing
- Governance & organizational development
- Support women in rural areas.
Created 2016, the cluster also works to increase the added value of marketed extra virgin olive oil with the intention to improve the growth and competitiveness of local industries.
The Tunisian North-West Olive Oil Cluster joined THE NEXT SOCIETY Cluster Booster Track in 2017.
