Takoua’s team developed an artificial intelligence and big data technology-based software, SCADS, that can be executed on top of IoT surveillance systems to detect suspicious behaviors and factory process anomalies in real time.
SCADS aggregates a set of observations to build a “monitored” scenario and match it against a “normal” expected one. In case of mismatch, an anomaly is detected and a notification is sent in real time. SCADS can observe a wide surveyed area and process a large number of events.
SCADS joined the NEXT SOCIETY during the Innovators Academy organised in April 2019 by APII, EBAN and ANIMA in Tunisia. It was among the 3 prize-winning projects awarded by the jury as the most promising research-based start-ups.
