The next meeting of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) will take place on 3 December 2018 in Barcelona (Spain). The meeting will be a work-group on industrial cooperation. Representatives of the ministry for industry, from the private sector and from other member countries will be present on the occasion, especially from Southern countries, and a “cluster” focus is planned.
The partners of THE NEXT SOCIETY initiative, amongst them ACCIÓ and ANIMA Investment Network, will have the chance to present the achievements of the “cluster” wing of the project, the Cluster Booster Track, and draw an initial assessment of recent activity. The speakers will look back on the diagnostics for the 26 South Mediterranean cluster managers, their first Benchmarking Visit & Training organized in Barcelona on 19-23 November 2018 and the i-Community collaborative network which has been officially launched.
